The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 1995 by Jean-Paul Guerlain for Guerlain, Un Air de Samsara is a composition that plays with contrasts and layers. The fragrance opens with the freshness of mint, bergamot, and lemon, offering an immediate burst of green and citrus notes. This vibrant beginning gives way to a heart of narcissus, jasmine, and iris, which adds warmth and complexity. The base notes of Mysore sandalwood and herbal nuances ground the scent in earthy richness, creating a balance between lightness and depth.
Apply Un Air de Samsara in light layers to allow its nuances to unfold gradually. The top notes are bright but fleeting, so two sprays will ensure that you experience both the initial freshness and the deeper floral heart as it develops on your skin.
