The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2025 by Guerlain and crafted by perfumer Delphine Jelk, Vétiver Fauve is a woody and earthy fragrance that blends unexpected sweetness with the ruggedness of vetiver. The opening notes of fig and pineapple bring a fruity brightness to the composition, while cypriol adds an aromatic depth. As it settles, tonka bean introduces a sweet warmth that contrasts beautifully against the earthy base note of vetiver.
One spray is sufficient for daytime wear, as the fruity top notes are bright but fleeting. The vetiver base emerges after an hour, making it perfect for layering under a jacket or cardigan.
