Jean-Paul Guerlain launched Vetiver Frozen Fragrance in 2004, blending the crispness of citrus with the warmth of spices and earthy woods. The composition opens with lime, bergamot, and orange, creating an invigorating freshness that contrasts sharply with the woody depth of vetiver and tonka bean. This tension between bright top notes and rich base accords makes it a fragrance that feels both refreshing and grounded.
For best effect, apply a generous spritz to pulse points. The citrus notes are bright but fleeting, so the vetiver and tonka bean base will shine through after about an hour. This fragrance is better suited for cooler weather when its warm tones can complement the crisp air.
