Launched in 2021 by Guerlain and crafted by Thierry Wasser, Xi'an is a fragrance that captures the essence of an ancient city with modern sophistication. The composition opens with bamboo, bringing a fresh, green aroma to the forefront before transitioning into floral notes that are both delicate and warm. The base of sandalwood adds depth and a balsamic warmth that lingers, creating a harmonious blend of earthy and powdery scents.
Apply this fragrance in light layers; it opens up beautifully on skin over time. The floral heart blooms gradually, so one or two sprays are sufficient to enjoy its full depth throughout the day.
