Launched in 2022 by Penhaligon's, Legacy of Petra is a woody spicy fragrance crafted by perfumer Natalie Gracia-Cetto. The composition opens with the freshness of green tea and bergamot, which gives way to the warmth of myrrh and olibanum, creating an interplay between crispness and depth. The heart of licorice and rosemary adds a subtle spiciness, while vanilla and woody notes form a rich, enveloping base that lingers on skin.
One or two sprays is enough to capture both the freshness of its top notes and the enveloping richness of its base. The woody warmth makes it perfect for cooler evenings but can also be layered in warmer months for a more subdued effect.
