The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2013, Sahara Noir by Tom Ford is an Oriental Floral fragrance crafted by perfumer Rodrigo Flores-Roux. The composition opens with the warmth of bitter orange and calamus before diving into a rich blend of incense, beeswax, cinnamon, and papyrus. Moroccan rose and Egyptian jasmine add floral notes to this complex blend, which settles into a smoky base of oud, cedar, and vanilla. Sahara Noir evokes a sense of luxury and depth, blending the earthy warmth of woods with the richness of spices and florals.
Apply two sprays to your pulse points — Sahara Noir blooms gradually over time. The smoky base notes are best experienced close to skin rather than from a distance, so avoid heavy application in the heat of summer.
