Launched in 2004 by Van Cleef & Arpels, Murmure Ylang Ylang de Madagascar is a floral fragrance that captures the essence of warm, sun-drenched landscapes. The scent opens with mandarin orange and freesia, creating a bright and uplifting introduction before diving into the heart of white flowers and jasmine. At its core lies the rich, heady presence of ylang-ylang from Madagascar, which infuses the composition with an enveloping sweetness. The base notes of cedar, Brazilian rosewood, and vanilla add depth and warmth, grounding the fragrance in a sensual embrace.
One or two sprays are enough to capture the essence of this fragrance. The top notes fade quickly, giving way to the heart and base notes that develop over time. It's best suited for daytime wear when you want a warm, enveloping aroma close to your skin.
