The story behind the bottle.
Reve, launched by Van Cleef & Arpels in 2013 and crafted by perfumer Nathalie Feisthauer, is a floral fruity fragrance that captures the essence of delicate freshness and subtle sweetness. The composition begins with pear and neroli, creating an immediate sense of brightness and crispness. This is followed by the soft florals of peony and lily, which add depth without overpowering the initial freshness. Osmanthus provides a touch of warmth and spice, while sandalwood and amber create a gentle, enveloping base that maintains the fragrance’s elegance.
Apply Reve sparingly — the pear and neroli notes are bright but fleeting. The fragrance's true character emerges after about half an hour when the soft florals and warm base notes come into their own. This makes it perfect for daytime wear, where its freshness can complement any activity.
