Who Wears It
The story behind the bottle.
Created by perfumers Olivier Cresp and Jean-Pierre Bethouart for Givenchy, Ange ou Demon Perfume Extract is a complex blend of woody, warm spicy, and sweet notes that evoke the duality of angelic grace and demonic charm. Opening with saffron and thyme, the fragrance introduces an aromatic tension before transitioning to a heart of orchid, lily, and ylang-ylang, which bring a delicate floral essence. The base notes of oakmoss, patchouli, vanilla, tonka bean, and Brazilian rosewood create a rich, earthy warmth that lingers on the skin.
This fragrance blooms gradually on the skin, so it's best to apply it in light layers. The saffron and thyme notes are fleeting, making way for the rich base that develops over time. It pairs well with cooler evenings but is versatile enough for any occasion where you want a lingering warmth.
