No. 25 by Guerlain was launched in 2002 and crafted by the house’s master perfumers, Jean-Paul Guerlain and Mathilde Laurent. This fragrance is a rich blend of floral sweetness and warm spices, with vanilla and iris as its cornerstone notes. The composition opens with bright citrus and mint, creating an unexpected freshness that cuts through the richness of the heart and base. The heart features delicate white lily and jasmine, while the base settles into a comforting mix of tonka bean and orris, providing warmth and depth.
One or two sprays are enough to capture No. 25's nuanced balance between fresh top notes and warm base notes. The fragrance blooms slowly, so it’s best applied an hour before you need it to be fully expressed on skin.
