The story behind the bottle.
Jean-Paul Guerlain crafted Samsara Rosée Parfumée Rafraichissante as a sophisticated blend of floral and woody notes, capturing the essence of Guerlain's luxurious heritage. The composition opens with bright bergamot and green notes, followed by peach and ylang-ylang that add a touch of sweetness and freshness. As it settles into the heart, narcissus and jasmine mingle with carnation and rose to create a delicate floral bouquet. The base notes of sandalwood, amber, iris, musk, tonka bean, and vanilla provide warmth and depth, grounding the fragrance in rich earthy tones.
Apply two sprays to pulse points for optimal longevity. The citrus opening is fleeting but vibrant, so layering it over a light moisturizer can help anchor its freshness. This fragrance reads best close to skin rather than across a room, making it perfect for intimate settings.
