Eau de Lacoste L.12.12 Noir was launched in 2013 and created by perfumers Claire Liégent and Dominique Ropion, bringing together a blend of fresh and warm accords that make it stand out as a versatile men's fragrance. The composition opens with the vibrant freshness of watermelon and basil, before transitioning into a heart of lavender and verbena, which adds an aromatic and slightly spicy character. The base notes of dark chocolate, cashmeran, patchouli, and coumarin create a rich warmth that grounds the scent, making it both sophisticated and comforting.
Apply two sprays to your pulse points; the fresh top notes will fade within an hour but the rich base notes will last through the day. This fragrance is best suited for a range of occasions — from a casual meeting to a formal dinner, where it reads as both modern and lasting.
