La Vie Est Belle Domaine de la Rose, launched by Lancôme in 2022, is a Floral Fruity Gourmand fragrance that captures the essence of rose with a modern twist. Created by perfumers Anne Flipo and Dominique Ropion, this composition opens with bergamot and pink pepper for an invigorating start before diving into the heart of Grasse Rose and jasmine sambac, which are softened by iris and herbal notes. The base is warm and earthy, anchored by patchouli, gourmand accord, and amberwood, creating a scent that feels both classic and contemporary.
This fragrance blooms over time, so it's best to apply two sprays on pulse points. The top notes are bright but fade within an hour, allowing the rich base to shine through. It pairs well with a light jacket for daytime wear.
