Vra Vra Vroom, launched by Penhaligon's in 2023 and crafted by perfumer Quentin Bisch, is a composition that dances between the bright freshness of citrus and the rich warmth of leather. The fragrance opens with apricot, bergamot, and mandarin orange, creating an immediate sense of vibrancy and energy. As it evolves, clary sage and osmanthus introduce a subtle spiciness and floral depth, while magnolia and rose add layers of sweetness and sophistication. Leather and ambrox give the base notes a distinctive animalic warmth that grounds the composition in a powdery embrace.
Apply Vra Vra Vroom with two sprays for optimal effect. The citrus opening is bright and fleeting, so it's best to let the powdery and leather base notes take center stage after the first hour. This fragrance reads better close to skin than in a large space, making it perfect for intimate settings.
