The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2015 by Rabanne and created by perfumers Michel Girard and Olivier Pescheux, 1 Million Cologne is a Woody Spicy fragrance that balances bright citrus and aromatic notes with rich, warm spices and leathery undertones. The composition opens with sea notes and citruses like mandarin orange, providing a crisp freshness that contrasts sharply against the depth of patchouli and tonka bean in the base. This interplay between light and dark, fresh and warm, creates a dynamic scent that evolves throughout the day.
Apply this fragrance in two moderate sprays — the bright citrus notes will fade within an hour or so, but the rich patchouli and leathery base notes will linger well into the evening. It pairs particularly well with a light jacket to let it breathe.
