Launched in 2013 by Rabanne and crafted by perfumers Michel Girard, Christophe Raynaud, and Olivier Pescheux, 1 Million Intense is a Woody Spicy fragrance that combines boldness with warmth. The composition opens with the sharp freshness of blood mandarin and black pepper, creating an immediate sense of intensity. This gives way to rich notes of rose, cinnamon, and leather, grounding the scent in a sophisticated earthiness. Saffron adds a luxurious depth, while sandalwood, patchouli, and orris root provide a warm, enveloping base that lingers throughout the day.
Apply two sprays to your pulse points for the full impact. The spicy top notes are bright but fade quickly, so it’s important to let the rich base notes come through after about an hour. This fragrance is best suited for evening wear when its warm and enveloping qualities can be fully appreciated.

A Grasse childhood, a global careerBorn in 1957 and raised in Grasse, Michel Girard graduated from Lycée Fénelon in 1974 and built his early career at Robertet before becoming a Senior Perfumer at Quest International in 1986.
