Launched in 2015 by Rosendo Mateu Olfactive Expressions, NO 4 Saffron, Oud, Vanilla is a harmonious blend of woody and warm spicy accords. The fragrance opens with the bright freshness of Calabrian bergamot and bitter orange blossom, leading into the heart where saffron and jasmine create an elegant tension. This is followed by a rich base of oud, vanilla, and benzoin that reads as earthy and powdery, evoking the warmth and depth of aged woods.
Apply this fragrance to pulse points for a slow build-up; it takes about an hour for the base notes to fully integrate. The woody warmth makes it ideal for cooler evenings or indoor settings.

From Puig apprentice to Master PerfumerRosendo Mateu began his fragrance career at 15 as an apprentice at the Puig perfumery company in Barcelona, later studying at Master Marcel Carles's Roure School in Grasse, then in Geneva with Arturo Jordi Pey at Firmenich and in Paris with Max Gavarry at IFF.
