Yann Vasnier crafted Costa Azzurra Acqua for Tom Ford in 2019, infusing it with the essence of a vibrant coastal landscape. The fragrance opens with lemon and juniper berries, creating an aromatic freshness that evokes the bracing air along the Mediterranean coast. As the composition unfolds, myrtle and cypress bring a woody warmth, while pine tree needles add a subtle spiciness. The base notes of amber and labdanum offer a grounding balsamic depth, tying together the fresh and earthy elements into a harmonious whole.
Apply two sprays to your pulse points — the citrus top notes are bright but fleeting, so letting it settle for a few minutes allows the woody base to shine. This fragrance works best during cooler daylight hours when its fresh-spicy notes can be fully appreciated.
