Libre Hair Mist by Yves Saint Laurent was launched in 2021, created by perfumers Anne Flipo and Carlos Benaïm. This fragrance for women opens with a bright citrus-aromatic blend of mandarin orange and petitgrain, which contrasts beautifully against the rich, velvety texture of jasmine sambac and orange blossom. The base notes of ambergris, vanilla, cedar, and musk add an animalic warmth that grounds the composition in sensuality and sophistication.
Libre Hair Mist projects well, so one spray is usually sufficient. The top notes are vibrant and fresh, while the base notes gradually unfold over time. It's best suited for daytime to evening wear, as the warm base notes provide lasting comfort throughout different hours.
