The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2017, Velvet Haze by Byredo is a composition that seamlessly blends musky and woody accords with floral warmth, creating an enveloping experience. Perfumer Jérôme Epinette crafted this scent around the heart of coconut, hibiscus, and tuberose, which contrasts beautifully against the earthy patchouli and warm spices in the base. This fragrance is neither overly sweet nor aggressively musky; instead, it offers a balanced warmth that feels both intimate and comforting.
Apply Velvet Haze to pulse points for a gentle warmth that unfolds over time. The top notes will fade within an hour, but the musky base notes will linger close to your skin throughout the day.
