The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2011 by Giorgio Armani and crafted by perfumers Anne Flipo, Dominique Ropion, and Loc Dong, Acqua di Gioia Essenza is a Floral Aquatic fragrance that embodies the essence of Italian elegance. The composition opens with mint and Amalfi lemon, creating a bright and refreshing top note that transitions into a heart of jasmine and pink pepper, bringing a subtle sweetness and warmth. The base notes of cashmeran, Virginia cedar, and vanilla add depth and a lingering musky comfort.
Apply one or two sprays and let it settle for a few minutes. The mint and lemon top notes are vibrant but short-lived, so the deeper layers will carry you through the day with their warm and comforting musk.
