Idylle Duet Rose-Patchouli by Guerlain, launched in 2014 and crafted by Thierry Wasser, is a Chypre Floral fragrance that reimagines the classic Idylle. The composition opens with Bulgarian rose, which cuddles powdery shades of violet, creating a warm embrace. This floral richness is balanced by patchouli and woody notes, giving it an earthy depth that makes it feel both familiar and fresh.
Apply to pulse points and let it settle for about ten minutes before heading out. The Bulgarian rose note is particularly bright initially but integrates beautifully with the woody base over time. This fragrance works well in cooler weather, where its warm spiciness feels comforting.
