Idylle Eau de Parfum by Guerlain, launched in 2021 and crafted by Thierry Wasser, is a Chypre Floral fragrance that embodies the essence of French elegance. The composition opens with lily-of-the-valley and freesia, creating an initial freshness that soon gives way to more complex florals like peony, white lily, jasmine, and Bulgarian rose. These notes are anchored by a powdery musk base that includes patchouli, resulting in a scent that is both delicate and enduring.
This fragrance blooms best when applied to pulse points — it takes about an hour for the powdery base notes to fully emerge. It's ideal for daytime wear as the fresh florals are most prominent in well-ventilated spaces.
