Launched in 2014 by Guerlain, La Petite Robe Noire Macon&Lesquoy Edition is a richly layered Oriental Vanilla fragrance for women. Perfumer Thierry Wasser created this composition with a focus on sweet and spicy notes that weave together to create a warm embrace. The scent opens with the bright freshness of bergamot and sour cherry, quickly giving way to a heart of taif rose and black rose, which adds depth and complexity. The base is anchored by vanilla, tonka bean, iris, and patchouli, creating a comforting warmth that lingers throughout the day.
Apply this fragrance in light layers, as the vanilla and tonka bean base notes are rich and can be quite enveloping. It pairs well with cooler weather but also offers a comforting warmth during warmer months. The scent blooms after about an hour, so give it time to settle into your skin before stepping out.
