Challenge by Lacoste Fragrances was launched in 2009 as a fresh aromatic fragrance for men, crafted by perfumer Pierre Bourdon. This composition opens with bright and zesty notes of Amalfi Lemon, Tangerine, and Bergamot, which create an invigorating and uplifting start. The heart introduces a touch of spiciness from Ginger and Lavender, balancing the citrus freshness. It then settles into a woody base of Teak Wood and Ebony Wood, providing warmth and depth without overpowering the crisp top notes.
Apply Challenge in light spritzes to avoid overwhelming its delicate balance. The fresh top notes fade quickly after an hour, so plan for multiple applications throughout the day if you want it to last. This fragrance is best suited for daytime wear when its crisp and refreshing character shines brightest.
