Empressa Eau de Parfum, launched by Penhaligon's in 2018 and crafted by perfumer Christian Provenzano, is a Floral Fruity fragrance that balances bright citrus with warm spices. The composition opens with blood orange, bergamot, and dewberry, creating an energetic freshness that transitions into the heart notes of peach, rose, black currant, and neroli. These florals soften the overall impact while adding depth, before settling into a base of patchouli, sandalwood, vanilla, and amber, which brings warmth and a powdery finish.
Apply two sprays to ensure that the bright top notes are balanced by the warm base. The fragrance settles into a powdery comfort after about an hour, making it perfect for daytime wear.
