Launched in 2021 by Penhaligon's, The World According to Arthur is a fragrance that weaves together the rich blend of vanilla and amber with smoky incense and warm spices. Created by perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin, this Oriental Spicy scent opens with the brightness of grapefruit and ambrette, before transitioning into a heart of clary sage and incense. The base notes of tonka bean and musky accords provide a grounding warmth that lingers throughout the day.
Apply this fragrance sparingly to let its rich notes unfold gradually. The smoky and musky base notes will develop over time, so one or two sprays are sufficient for a full day’s wear. It pairs well with evening events where the warmth can subtly envelop you.
