Champaca Absolute by Tom Ford, launched in 2009 and crafted by Rodrigo Flores-Roux, is an Oriental Floral fragrance that marries the lushness of Champaca with a rich blend of woody, powdery, and nutty notes. The opening burst of cognac and dyer’s greenweed gives way to a heart of champaca, jasmine, and orchid, creating an opulent floral bouquet that is both bright and complex. The base of marron glacé, vanilla, sandalwood, and amber adds warmth and depth, making this fragrance feel like a luxurious embrace.
Apply two sprays to pulse points for a balanced experience. The cognac and greenweed top notes are fleeting, so wait a few minutes before reapplying if you want more of their impact. The warm, woody base notes will develop over time and can last well into the evening.
