The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2009, Gardenia Petale by Van Cleef & Arpels is the creation of perfumer Nathalie Feisthauer. This fragrance opens with a fresh and green top note that immediately sets an airy, crisp tone before transitioning into a heart of white floral gardenia, which is both delicate and pronounced. The lactonic and animalic undertones add depth and warmth, grounding the composition in a subtle sensuality without overpowering the floral essence.
Apply lightly — the fresh top notes dissipate quickly, giving way to a more lasting floral warmth. Ideal for daytime wear when you want a delicate but noticeable presence.
