Who Wears It
The story behind the bottle.
Black Opium Baby Cat Collector by Yves Saint Laurent was launched in 2020 and is a collaborative effort by perfumers Nathalie Lorson, Marie Salamagne, Olivier Cresp, and Honorine Blanc. The fragrance opens with the fresh brightness of pear and orange blossom, creating an immediate sense of warmth and sweetness. This gives way to the heart notes of jasmine and coffee, which blend into a rich, enveloping aroma that is both alluring and comforting. The base notes of vanilla, patchouli, and cashmere wood add depth and a lingering warmth, making this fragrance feel like an intimate hug.
Apply this fragrance to pulse points for a slow build-up of its rich notes. The top notes are bright but fleeting, so allow it time to develop on your skin — the base will last well into the evening.
