The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2016 and crafted by Olivier Cresp, Black Opium Nuit Blanche by Yves Saint Laurent is an Oriental Vanilla fragrance that plays a captivating game of contrasts. The composition opens with the subtle spiciness of rice and anise before transitioning into a heart of orange blossom and peony, which adds a touch of floral sweetness. As it settles, notes of coffee, vanilla, caramel, and sandalwood create a warm, powdery base that is both indulgent and comforting.
This fragrance blooms best when applied to pulse points. The top notes fade quickly, giving way to a rich base that develops over time. For optimal wear, apply two sprays and allow it to settle for at least five minutes before dressing.
