Who Wears It
The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2015, Black Opium Eau de Toilette by Yves Saint Laurent is an Oriental Vanilla fragrance that embodies the brand's blend of elegance and contemporary charm. The composition opens with a burst of pear and black currant, followed by green mandarin and citruses, creating a vibrant and fresh top note. This freshness gives way to a heart of coffee and jasmine, where the aromatic richness of coffee contrasts beautifully with the delicate floral notes. The base notes of white wood and musk provide a warm, enveloping finish that lingers on the skin.
Apply two sprays to pulse points for a balanced wear. The top notes are bright but short-lived, so reapply if you want to keep that initial freshness throughout the day. For a more lasting experience, focus on the base notes by applying it closer to your skin.
