Launched in 2018 and crafted by perfumers Nathalie Lorson, Marie Salamagne, Honorine Blanc, and Olivier Cresp, Black Opium Eau de Toilette is a vibrant Oriental Vanilla fragrance that captures the essence of modern femininity. The composition opens with fresh citrus notes of lemon and bergamot, which give way to the rich warmth of jasmine sambac and orange blossom. A hint of pear adds a fruity sweetness that contrasts beautifully with the bold presence of coffee. The base notes of patchouli, cedar, and musk ground the fragrance with earthy, woody depth.
Apply two sprays to your pulse points for a balanced blend. The top notes are bright but fade quickly, allowing the warm base to emerge within about an hour. This fragrance reads best close to skin rather than across a room.
