Launched in 2020, Black Opium Snake Jacket by Yves Saint Laurent is an Oriental Vanilla fragrance crafted by perfumers Nathalie Lorson, Marie Salamagne, Olivier Cresp, and Honorine Blanc. This composition opens with the bright freshness of pear and orange blossom, leading into a heart of jasmine and almond that adds warmth and sweetness. The base notes of coffee, patchouli, vanilla, cedar, and cashmere wood create an enveloping cocoon of rich, spicy aromas that linger on the skin.
Apply one or two sprays to pulse points. The pear and orange blossom top notes are fleeting but bright, so rely on the base for longevity. This fragrance reads best close to skin rather than across a room, making it perfect for intimate settings.
