Launched in 2025, Libre Collection Saisonniere Collector Edition by Yves Saint Laurent is a fragrance that marries the freshness of citrus and lavender with the warmth of vanilla and musk. Perfumers Anne Flipo and Carlos Benaïm have crafted a composition that oscillates between bright, zesty notes like mandarin orange and black currant, and the rich, velvety tones of Madagascar vanilla and ambergris. The result is a scent that feels both vibrant and deeply comforting.
Apply this fragrance lightly — the mandarin orange top notes are bright but fleeting. The ambergris and vanilla base notes emerge after about an hour, making it perfect for longer wear. It reads best close to skin rather than in a wide sillage.
