Who Wears It
The story behind the bottle.
Chant d'Aromes Extrait de Parfum, launched by Guerlain in 1962 and crafted by Jean-Paul Guerlain, is a chypre floral fragrance that weaves together aldehydic freshness with white florals and fruity nuances. The composition opens with the vibrant brightness of aldehydes and gardenia, leading into a heart of mirabelle plum and honeysuckle. This contrasts beautifully with the woody, earthy base notes of vetiver and moss, creating an enduring warmth that is both complex and comforting.
Apply this fragrance to your pulse points and let it develop for at least half an hour before stepping out. The fruity heart takes about 20 minutes to bloom fully, so patience is key. It reads best close to the skin rather than in the air.
