Luna Rossa Ocean Eau de Parfum by Prada was launched in 2023 and crafted by perfumers Anne Flipo and Carlos Benaïm. This Oriental Woody fragrance opens with a refreshing burst of grapefruit, contrasting the vibrant incense of frankincense in its heart. The composition settles into rich vanilla bean notes and an intensified Amber Xtreme base, offering a long-lasting and sensual trail. The bottle design reflects Prada's innovative spirit, featuring deep blue lacquer to evoke ocean depths, capped with a night-black finish adorned by a red dot symbolizing Luna Rossa, the red moon.
This fragrance is best applied in small amounts; the grapefruit top note fades quickly but leaves behind a warm vanilla-amber base. It pairs well with casual daytime wear and carries through to evening without overpowering.
