Launched in 2019, Black Opium Crystal Jacket by Yves Saint Laurent is a fragrance that captures the essence of modern elegance and sophistication. Created by perfumers Honorine Blanc, Marie Salamagne, Nathalie Lorson, and Olivier Cresp, this Oriental Vanilla scent opens with bright notes of orange blossom and pear, giving way to a heart of jasmine and almond. The base notes of coffee, vanilla, patchouli, cashmere wood, and cedar create a warm, enveloping atmosphere that is both comforting and alluring.
Apply this fragrance in light layers; it blooms gradually, with the top notes giving way to its rich base within about an hour. It pairs well for evening wear, as the warm spiciness and woody base provide lasting comfort throughout the night.
