The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2015 by Yves Saint Laurent, Black Opium Swarovski Edition is a luxurious Oriental Vanilla fragrance created by perfumers Nathalie Lorson, Marie Salamagne, Olivier Cresp, and Honorine Blanc. The composition opens with the sharp brightness of pink pepper and orange blossom before giving way to the rich warmth of coffee and vanilla. This interplay between spicy freshness and sweet depth creates an atmosphere that is both bold and inviting. The base notes of cashmere wood and patchouli ground the scent in a sophisticated, modern elegance.
This fragrance projects well but builds gradually. A single spray to each wrist is sufficient; allow it to settle for five minutes before layering another light mist if needed. The spicy opening notes fade within an hour, making it perfect for evening wear when you want a scent that evolves with the night.
