The story behind the bottle.
L'Interdit Eau de Parfum Rouge Ultime by Givenchy was launched in 2023 and is a collaboration between perfumers Anne Flipo, Dominique Ropion, and Fanny Bal. This Oriental Floral fragrance opens with Tunisian Orange Blossom, Jasmine Sambac, and Tunisian Neroli, creating a bright floral bouquet that radiates warmth and sweetness. The heart of Indian Tuberose adds an intense depth, while the base notes of Cacao Pod, Indonesian Patchouli Leaf, Tobacco, Ambroxan, and Haitian Vetiver bring a rich, earthy complexity. This fragrance is neither traditionally feminine nor masculine but rather a unisex scent that embodies Givenchy's blend of French elegance and American glamour.
Apply this fragrance to pulse points for a more intimate experience — it reads better close to skin rather than filling a room. Given its rich base notes, it blooms over time, so a light application in the morning can carry you through the day.
