Launched in 2022 by Givenchy, L'Interdit Eau de Toilette is a fragrance that bridges the gap between fresh citrus and warm powdery musk. Perfumers Anne Flipo, Dominique Ropion, and Fanny Bal crafted an opening dominated by bright citrus notes like bitter orange and bergamot, which give way to a heart of tuberose and jasmine. The base combines woody accords with a subtle animalic touch, resulting in a scent that feels both fresh and enveloping.
Apply L'Interdit Eau de Toilette to pulse points and let it settle for five minutes before stepping out. The citrus top notes are bright but brief, making way for the powdery musk base that carries through the day. For an enduring presence, reapply lightly at lunchtime.
