The story behind the bottle.
L'Interdit Absolu by Givenchy, launched in 2024 and crafted by perfumers Dominique Ropion, Fanny Bal, and Anne Flipo, is a blend of white florals and warm spices that captures the essence of French elegance. The fragrance opens with Guatemalan cardamom and lavender, creating an aromatic freshness that transitions into the heart where Indian tuberose and jasmine sambac intertwine with orange blossom for a rich floral bouquet. The base notes of tobacco, rum, patchouli, and Haitian vetiver add warmth and depth, grounding the composition in a sophisticated and sensual aura.
Apply L'Interdit Absolu in a single generous spritz on your pulse points. The aromatic top notes are fleeting but vibrant, while the base notes develop over time, ensuring that the scent remains close to the skin rather than projecting widely throughout the day.
