L'Interdit Édition Millésime by Givenchy, launched in 2021, is a fragrance that bridges the gap between fresh and sensual, created by perfumers Anne Flipo, Dominique Ropion, and Fanny Bal. The composition opens with bitter orange and ginger, creating an invigorating freshness that cuts through to the heart of tuberose and orange blossom, which are rich and floral yet remain light enough not to overpower. The base notes of vetiver, musk, and patchouli add a subtle animalic warmth, grounding the scent in sophisticated elegance.
Apply this fragrance in two light sprays for best results. The top notes are bright but fade within the hour, while the tuberose and musk base develops over time. It's perfect for daytime wear as it balances freshness with subtle warmth.
