Halfeti Cedar by Penhaligon's, launched in 2020 and crafted by perfumer Christian Provenzano, is a Woody Spicy fragrance that blends warmth with a subtle fruity sweetness. The composition opens with rum and saffron, creating an intriguing contrast between the richness of rum and the earthy complexity of saffron. This gives way to a heart of peach and cardamom, adding depth and nuance before settling into a base of Virginia Cedar, tonka bean, and vanilla, which read as warm and enveloping.
Apply this fragrance directly to pulse points for best effect — it develops gradually over time. The initial rum and saffron notes are brief but intense, so a light first pass allows the warm base notes to take center stage as the day progresses.
