The story behind the bottle.

Scentsation editorial

Launched in 2009, Zen for Men by Shiseido is a fragrance crafted by Françoise Caron and Francis Kurkdjian that balances fresh citrus notes with powdery and spicy accords. The composition opens with pear and orange, blending into the floral heart of violet and rhododendron before settling into a base of patchouli, musk, and leather. This interplay between crisp freshness and warm spiciness creates an atmosphere that is both invigorating and grounded.

How to wear it

One spray is enough — the vibrant citrus opening fades within an hour but the patchouli-musk base carries it for hours. It works best in cooler weather when its warmth feels most comforting.
